After qualifying today I can t help but be exited for the fast, action packed weekend ahead, all of u that hate on Nascar watch the race this weekend and im sure your opinion will change!!
A warrior to watch this weekend is Jeff Gordon who will be going to a backup car and starting from th rear after crashing in qualifying. With this might come some interesting props. Gordon is the only driver to have back-to-back wins at this track in the Sprint Series. Kyle Busch, and Jimmie Johnson will be some others to watch and I especially like Busch who is not afraid to leave that pedal all the way to the metal for the mile length of the track. Reutimann picked up the pole for this weekend but this race is really wide open. Expect alot of lead changes early on and driving expertise to play heavily into the outcome of this race.
The concrete track is super slick this weekend and we have alot of drivers that have been running loose in practice and of course qualifying. Watch drivers that like to stay on an open throttle to have an advantage as well. Either way look forward to an exiting race on a slick track where no rubber seems to be sticking therefore making these cars slide around creating full-contact racing just the way I like. Look for drivers that pass more on the outside to have an advantage as cars that stay low will get sucked into the turns having no choice but to back off the throttle more than they would like. I just wanted to let you Nascar haters out there know that if your waiting to see an exiting Sprint Cup Race, this is the one to watch. Expect quite a few accidents and lap traffic early on to create an incredibly interesting scenario.
