I saw those moves too, yisman. Definitely a weird market at times. 9 out of 10 times I beat the market (not trying to brag, not my style lol) so when the Menard move happened I was like, "what does he have a cold? Crew chief have to leave....something! I can't be wrong for once can I"

I dont know about interest, but one thing about mike, he had enthusiasm every week and could put it into words. I get excited about every race too, but coming here almost daily and writing about it for as long as he has takes commitment.

There is no doubt mike picked winners...but i tried 5d and at 250 a pop...weather straight or parlay or matchups...i say..1. How do you make a living. And 2. If you do rebet 3 times...how do you not get kicked out...shit ive been banned for wining less then 7k..doesnt add up.

I was a Nascar gambling Pro from 2004 till 2007. I'm going to point out all the stupid shit that Mikey posted.

You DO NOT parlay longshots. You bet them straight up. You parlay favorites.

If you want to win long term at Nascar then you need to bet multiple driver matchups. I was betting 25 to 30 matchups a week as a pro.

Nascar pro's DO NOT use just 1 sportsbook! It doesn't happen.

When I was a Nascar pro I used 9 sportsbooks regularly.

There are 3 MAJOR elements to handicapping a Nascar race.

1. Past track history.

2. Current form

3. Practice and Qualifying

There are other minor elements also.

Driver qoutes and interviews.
Chassis selections.
Similar track results.
Testing results.

About the only thing I will agree with mikey is watching past race film and hand written notebooks.

I had several notebooks and about 120 races taped as a pro. I didn't watch 16 hours of film like he claimed(bullshit) more like 6 to 8 hours a week.

Small problem with the Parlay.... Biffle beat Hamlin.
Think he reversed the play, Hamlin was never +1.55 vs Biffle, the reverse was true.

Enjoyed reading mikes enthusiasm, don't think he was as profitable as he claimed, but who cares???
Saw him parlay drivers to make the top ten once (if one driver makes the top ten, the other is less likely too.)

Point is to have a good information exchange.
Forum can be valuable with or without Mike.

Have gotten a lot of good information from other posters here.

Don't see any value in the "its not the same without mikes posts"... unless he changes his name to Serge Ibaka he is not posting at SBR anytime soon.
