well for me, but i highly doubt i bet him early, his odds will be terrible

much more likely if i do take him to win the race, ill use as him winning as the play on last-leg of a nascar weekend parlay hopefully...or on raceday

hes not even gonna open at +400 and that's a fact, probably closer to +300 is my guess

either way there will be 0 value taking him early, just imo

he will be better than that at dimes of course, but not by that much at this racetrack

maybe +300 at best

and there is no upside to betting him or any1 else to win any CUP race at that price on openers imo

Pretty sure they had hornish. I know for a fact it's the way it was when I had my problem even though mine got cancelled via tony.

But also that was 2 seasons ago so the rules could have changed

to continue my thoughts on the tires.....this week i think we see 5 teams use this as a test to get some good setup notes for the chase. as only brad has a championship from the 5 winners this year. this race is in the 3rd leg with texas and phoenix. so getting it right here will go long way to making the final at homestead. will be intersting to see practice on saturday as to how aggressive these 5 will be. if they hit on something might make them players on a track that none of them have won on ( i think) i know klye and carl havent, jr maybe.

just a thought as this is the first track we hit that comes back in the chase

I remember the one you got reversed but dont recall the exact details. Didn't they offer someone in a NW race that was never entered to start with that time or was there a replacement diver like hamlin/hornish?

yes that was the senario, but i was told ur not betting the driver its the car # (which thery dont even list) even if there was a change u are stuck with it....but i got it cancelled because he was ever suppose to drive the race to begin with...thats how i know it use to be the rule that people would have had hornish, so glad they changed it...that wasnt a CS rep either that was from tony thats only reason i know it has been changed for the better

I bet a golfer for the british open a few years ago, about a month before it started and he ended up not even being in the field, and they didnt give me my money back.

I dont know if hamlin going out on race day or betting him before the weekend would be any different by there rules.

i think they always meant for it to mean a during race driver swap for sickness, injury, ect and they finally found out its 2 different things...these books are so clueless about nascar its not even funny...but overall they make an absolute killing off of it cause majority like most things people usually just bet the race favs on raceday and over the long term that's a books dream in this sport
