I was thinking a bit like that at first too. But do you really think the bowlers were trying to hit him or was it just him refusing to back away from the stumps?

Another long time cricket tradition. Melbourne Ashes test match starts on December 26th (which we call Boxing Day) and a lot of people attend.

1st day is a bit of a party day I think. By cricket standards anyway. No tailgating.
