Wonder if Jimmie goes to +175 or +265. LMAO. Can't wait to see odds jump on raceday too. With a huge fav the odds get so much better on almost very other driver not in top 2-3. I love it.

Could single-car qualifying be on the way out for NASCAR? It’s now possible, per a competition meeting at NASCAR’s Research & Development Center in Charlotte held Thursday.
One of the items discussed was the potential elimination of single-car qualifying and a shift to a group format, similar to what is now in use for NASCAR’s road courses.
That would be implemented at all tracks except Daytona and Talladega. The two restrictor plate tracks would feature a 45-50 minute open session where drafting would be possible.
“Nothing (is) in stone yet,” Kerry Tharp, NASCAR’s senior director of competition communications, said in a NASCAR.com report. “We believe it would provide a much more enjoyable experience for the fans who are not only at the track, but those who are watching as well.”

i like it on road courses but ovals whats the big deal?

i guess speeding it up is smart but as far as better i dont get it

I doubt it will be more exciting but the current system isn't fair with track changes from start to end having as much to do with times as the car quite often. So why not?

I liked it when the fastest car in practice went last personally, but I think NASCAR did not like the teams sandbagging for quali position late in practice then.

Maybe in groups sorted by last race finishing order...

im not sure, i havent even looked at it honestly (never do for trucks) so wouldnt tail me...ill probably pick a driver or 2 or a parlay, but doubt ill know who til close to the race

the other guys are much better than me at that series
