think of all the times Denny was one of the top 7 or 8 favorites (which was almost every race aside from when he was injured) and where he finished. He usually had a top 10 starting position, too.

Four top 10s. Six times in the top 17 all season, and the last time he did that was June 9 at Pocono.

also here are a few more hamlin stats this year to sum it up even MORE:

1.Denny has finished 18th or WORSE in 13 straight races!!! *****(WOW--H2H fade goldmine btw)*****

2. Denny's last TOP 5 finish was @ charlotte on MAY 26th!!! (and hes also raced on his top 3 tracks, some 2 times since then)

3. he opened at 12-1 at the greek this week to WIN....it is a VERY flat racetrack, so all of them they are always very good tracks for Denny, but like this shows that hasn't played any role in his finishing well...be nice to see some H2Hs on him too...and kennseth

Nationwide isnt going to be the Title series sponsor for the 2nd-tier series for nascar(current nationwide and former busch series )

and nascar has started looking to only its 3rd title sponsor for the series since it started back in 1982...

nationwide's reasons were its gonna be sponsoring more things in the Cup series in the future

Nationwide is gonna focus on sponsorships in the Cup series on stenhouse and 1 other car i think, and at the track sponosrships, races, ect

cant remember when this takes effect, but pretty sure after 2014 season ends next year

UPDATE:The 2014 Sprint Cup schedule is being debated behind closed doors, and some quite interesting twists appear on the table at the moment. Just a few weeks ago it looked like NASCAR didn't plan any major, or even minor, changes for 2014. Now, however, word is things have, for some reason, changed. What NASCAR eventually does with next year's Cup calendar seems up for review, with few sacred cows. Don't make any hotel reservations, but here are some possible moves:
-- Homestead might lose its spot as the season finale;
-- Phoenix might gain the final spot on the 2014 tour;
-- Sonoma could earn a spot in the playoffs, adding a California stop to the chase;
-- Road America, that picturesque road course at Elkhart Lake, Wis., an hour north of Milwaukee, could get a slot in the 2014 Cup schedule (even though NASCAR's Brian France earlier this year said he planned no new tracks on the tour next season);
-- how to fit a new track in the schedule? Dover could lose its late spring Cup weekend (keeping its early fall Cup date, in the chase), track boss Denis McGlynn, not unaccustomed to such speculation, would surely fight hard to keep both;
-- and -- hold your horses -- Darlington might even get its traditional Labor Day weekend Southern 500 back;
-- to fill that Mother's Day Saturday night slot, maybe a swap with Atlanta;

After a seven-year run, Nationwide will end its entitlement sponsorship of NASCAR's top development series after the 2014 season.
The company will remain in NASCAR as an official sponsor for auto, home, life and business insurance through 2017 and also focus on NASCAR marketing programs on the Sprint Cup Series. In addition to its series entitlement, Nationwide also has had endorsement deals with Cup drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
"Nationwide Insurance will look to build a more consistent presence in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series enabling its message to reach an even larger NASCAR audience," according to a release from NASCAR.
NASCAR vice president and chief sales officer for corporate marketing Jim O'Connell told USA TODAY Sports that Nationwide is expected to increase its investment in Cup.

Agree not a lot of good info to cap on, but doubt there will any surprises.

RCR, Penske and Gibbs won the 3 races earlier this year.

RCR, Penske and Gibbs filled top 5 positions last Sep when it was a standalone event.

One of them has won the last 7 NW races, and all three Cup races.

It's a track that rewards the strongest cars/teams I think.

So got to be one of those 3 for mine... Dillon, Hornish or Vickers.

+375 Dillon will do me. Even if he doesn't win I bet he looks like he will most of the race.

After seeing how damn relaxed he was last week I was thinking about backing him if the odds were good.

He's got the skill, the car and the team. If he is out of head case mode, for whatever reason, no real reason he shouldn't just go boom and turn it around suddenly.

Yeah definitely not at those odds... but I won't be at all surprised if he competes suddenly this week. I don't know if you saw him after he went out last week. Never seen him so relaxed.

they have to find a soution asap..i mean this could CRIPPLE the organization as a whole, on track, layoffs, ect

and like u mentioned as a 36-race sponsor, truex is in some trouble himself, that team cant field 3-cars with help fast...did i hear a possible furniture row partnership saver if mikey cant act fast here for truex?
