im thinking a few guys at 10-1 or better for the championship are worth a chance early and see how it goes for the 1st few weeks...odds are gonna overreact alot im sure

like kahne (10-1) and dare i say maybe the hottest driver around on high power tracks logano (+1400)....not saying they can win it, but the odds maybe worth a chance...no1 thought smoke could either, or even keslowski the last 2 years...peaking at the right times and both have been great on horsepower tracks...

i would say even Kurt at long odds, but with him leaving and that team just never being consistent in putting entire races together or i would say him because he runs top 10 weekly almost, but u do need to win races probably to win the title?

any thoughts on these or others?

yeah i mean any1 tht can be very consistany can do it....and having some bets on outsiders the first few weeks might be a thought....if they stink it up, dont add onto ur initial bet and dont lose much...if favs have an early tough race or 2, maybe jump on @ better odds ect

man flats, engines, wrecks, everything is SO crucial the next 10 weeks...gonna be awsome to watch it all unfold...even with an extra chaser this year since we have lucky 13 now

exactly i agree, so why not take a few stab and see how 1st few weeks go...or maybe wait for a race or 2 but maybe then odds stink and not worth it

i hate having $ tied up for that long anyways, tthats why i would stick to underdogs and not early chalk favs...im leaning logano and kahne for a stab...

really like Kyle this season to make a run, but not betting 4-1 on any1

Closed my kyle win truck/nationwide races big parlay with kahne/kennseth/Kyle win the race and will pay almost 30-1. So basically getting those big odds in 3 of the favs and will save me a ton of money not having to bet any of them single and will payoff BIG. Now I can focus on who else I can use on single bets besides my opening bet.its already a win/win

have keslowski and logano single and stenhouse 115-1 as my no way in hell longshot so far

Mike, why would you not bet some of the drivers early in the year to win the cup? after each win i bet a few bucks back on a driver to win the championship. for instance, i bet edwards in phoenix this year at 20/1 for the race, then bet a little back on him at 25/1 for the championship. same with matt and kasey. i took a flyer with kurt at 150/1 back in march instead of betting him at bristol. saved the money on him to win that race but have action now at a great price.

last year i bet brad at 100/1 after he won degga for his 2nd win of the year and virtualy a lock to be in the chase.
