anyway, I do not like teasing to 7 (or 3) because some books will freeroll you if a leg of a teaser pushes

DSI/Bookmaker does that for example

push+win=push
push+loss=loss

classic freeroll, taking a shot at the player

so the only time I'd tease to 3 or 7 would be the unique ties win teasers at 5 Dimes, or teasers with at least 3 legs

what you try and do is buy the valuable points and don't buy the less valuable ones

points higher than 10 are less valuable so I wouldn't have bought the point on Houston. I would've left it at 12.

I really like this book, uwin, although they have dropped the ball on NASCAR which is why I deposited there really. Shitty odds on everyone. They were a gold mine last year.

basically you get -260 with 6, -300 with 6.5 and -360 with 7 points and they turn it into a parlay with regular parlay rules.

The 11.08 at top is decimal payout btw. So its worth +1008. Not bad odds I thought at time?

Maybe you can give me advice and best way to use it if its really any good for next week and I might hit with the balance there?

Just checked and an 8 leg ties reduce teaser with 7 points on all of them pays +1100 at 5D

So maybe no real advantage anyway, just different way of pricing it?

I don't think it's worth it to buy points in that case, although I'd have to do some math to see how it would work with 5 Dimes (how much you're paying for a half a point there).

I'd just do 6 point teasers. It's the same as 6 point ties reduce at 5 Dimes which pays even odds. At uwin you're getting about -109 rather than +100.

It's a unique way of pricing it (assigning odds to each leg, which no one else does), but it doesn't seem to present you with any added value.

No one beats 5 Dimes at teaser odds from what I've seen. The only reason to use other books is if you want a Wong teaser, where 5 Dimes uses teaser protection. On the ones where 5 Dimes uses teaser protection (like Pinnacle), you are essentially getting 1-2 free points on the other side so I like to do that.

For example, the market line on Denver was -7.5, but 5 Dimes had -9 to protect. So I'd be inclined to use a 5 or 5.5 point teaser involving Dallas +9 (Denver's opponent).

only time it's ever worth it to tease through zero is at 5 Dimes, using a ties win teaser and teasing to 3

Well yes, anything teased anywhere will win more often than not. But that's only one leg. The teaser in question will lose more often than not.

A teaser leg has to win over 72% of the time for you just to break even betting it.

yep, did that as well. +215 at youwager and 5 Dimes.

Whenever I bet an underdog of more than a FG, I almost always take the ML as well.
