Damn I see I missed a bunch in my 3 hours off from work.. Look I have bet Nascar for a long time with some success but never the amount of success I am having now with Mike's weekly threads. Mike puts in a ton of work and so do many other regulars which is why there is so much valuable insight week in and week out. CD, you said you normally just read the thread each week. If you have so much insight and such an natural ability to pick winners then start contributing. Otherwise you are just like everyone else that reads the thread and makes their pick of the insight of others whether it's Mike or not. However, I don't suggest anyone go betting against Mike or any others in here for that fact. That's a sure way to go broke.

Harvick has been medicore at best here, besides starting 4th and finishing a good day in 3rd place in 2010...besides that he hasnt finished better than 9th in that time span...he finished on the lead lap 4/5 but was never a real factor up front...also didnt pass many of the top 15 cars on lead lap passes

We are still all cool.
It's called calculations when you start taking long shots, so you make a decent amount, without betting too much on them. So hitting a 150/1 will boost your bankroll without betting regular units on it. I'm sure you know that.
If you get good odds on each driver, it allows you to take on additional drivers. That is why it is a must to get that best number, especially on the favorites. That is why Mike pulls all nighter's to hit 5dimes openers. So it is possible to take on a deep roster and still profit. Now if you don't hit any on that weekend, you are going to take a harder hit to the bankroll. That's why I try to stick to 3 or 4. But when odds improve, I find myself adding that additional driver.
Mike and I were PMing before the odds came out Tuesday, and he wasn't set on taking Ambrose unless he got a good number. He got that number, so he bet him. If I can get Ambrose 7/1, I will take him too.Comment -

No doubt 150/1 will get you profit, but some weeks the best he can get is +700 on say 3-5 drivers, Loses them all then the next week same thing most drivers in the +500/+700 range, he finally wins one of them, 1 win with +500/+700 doesn't make up for the other 9 Drivers who were at that price & lost. Not to mention when he wins with say JJ and he was at +250, Mike acts like he got rich that weekend, I call it like I see it, im not saying that he doesn't win $$$ but not like he tries to make everyone believe, he's a Bull Sh*tter.Comment -
