You're making it too complex.

Don't worry about who is pro or not when working out segment pool points... we had 15 players so 30 points to segment pool. (I counted wrong when I put 32, I'll fix it on sheet)

Non-pros get 10% of prize for every 2 points sent, even the 2 that goes to segment prize. So they get an advantage that helps make up for having to send points twice and using all their daily points transfer allocation twice per week. Plus it's good to encourage them so we have more jackpot weeks. (the 1 rider is they must pay the full 22 points if they want 100% of prize)

So Mushy gets 40% for 8 points sent.

So basically add up all points and take off 30 for pool.

75% of the remainder x 40% goes to Mushy for first place.

If I remember, I usually just ask in thread if they want to leave some for next week, then send it 24 hours later if they don't reply.
