Alright guys were heading to KANSAS this weekend for our 2nd 1.5 racetrack in a row....unfortunately, this race wont be another night race, its back to the normal racing on early sunday afternoon...the nationwide series is off this week, but will be replaced on saturday afternoon by the truck series also from Kansas

Kansas is a 1.5 mile tri-oval speedway...the track dimensions have changed with banking in the turns is variable from 17-20 degrees....banking on the fronstretch is variable 9-11 degrees with the backstretch banking out at 5 degrees

**keep in mind that progressive banking has been added and the track underwent a total repavement***

could be a totally different race than we have seen here before

Just so nobody misunderstood, the fall race was run on this new surface. But I wouldn't put much stock in that especially with new car. I'm finishing up watching last few years races today

im traveling to WV for a few days so if i dont post early plays i will when i get a chance...ill have to keep up on phone and make calls during dead signal areas thru the mountains...

My sister had her 1st baby last week and i want to go visit....i wont be gone but a day or 2, and will be posting daily still just might not be able to post right after my opening bets like usual

isn't really much of a penalty 25 points brad can make up easily losing the crew chief for 6 races easily overcome look at jimmy when he lost chad still made the chase

Because it punishes sponsors and NASCAR needs the big money sponsors like shell and miller

I know it's very difficult what punishment is nessary you look in formula 1 they say 5 grid penalty it's much more harder to overcome but in nascar a grid penalty doesn't mean anything

I agree moving them further back not a huge deal in NASCAR. Would have to hold a lap or so

thats a HUGE penalty

25 pts isnt a small amount of pts these days...ouch....

not to mention Paul Wolfe is about the best crew chief not named chad K. in that garage (imo)

just my opinion. I think this hurts penske more than we seen when knaus was suspended. penske teams lost both crew chiefs car chiefs and engineers on both teams.

oh yeah i agree, a MUCH bigger hit than no chad for #48 was

especially with the new switch from dodge to ford, stioll learning the Gen6, and like i said Paul Wolfe maybe the most valuable chief there is....

its such a loss imo, i would conisder not betting BK just for that reason alone
