New to Nascar betting. Any thoughts

Completly new to nascar betting. Heard that the guys that know their stuff when it comes to this is 5Mike5 and Optional. I would really like to learn some stuff this season because i dont really know much at all about betting on it. I have followed nascar to a point. I know drivers and teams and the basics but if anyone could lend a helping hand on how it works or the best way to cash or just anything at all would really appreciatte it. I also heard that this subforum is a bunch of good guys without a lot of drama, looking foward to that. Thanks for any help guys.

well 1st few races at daytona are basically crap shoots and need alot of luck to win it, but afrer faytona 500 next week the real work begins

takes YEARS and years to be good at handicappin nascar, and even longer to make great money on a regular basis, but its FUN as hell to bet and root on every week even as 1st time bettor to the sport..plus when u win race u will be hooked....u have to watch the races to gian the knowlegde for a few years imo, theres so much to know....no way to explain how to do it, we all have different methods

**i start a thread every week for every race on monday of the new week, its always near top if the page here of the nascar subforum, all the regulars use...

just dont get frustrated, it took me YEARS to make money, but now......

Thanks guys, yea I have always kept up with nascar to a point just never really got into it but did some research last night and there is so much that goes into it with every track, team, indvidual personality. Seems very exciting glad to be here

question do you guys usually bet on one driver for that race or top 3 finish? or both. I know that they have the field bet but that sounds like its a crap play IMO. Just wondering how you guys that have been doing it for a while go. I know that choosing one guy to win the race is tough but if you know your stuff you get good odds and I can only imagine how exciting a finish is when you have your driver racing to the finish line. I know that some rules changed this year is that going to have big impact on how you guys bet it?

I usually bet 3 or 4 drivers for the win. Hoping for about +200 overall usually.

Also bet head 2 heads. Over/Under finishing position, top10s.

I generally bet 2 or 3 main drivers to win race

With 1 or 2 as top 3 finishes also a couple of h2h but it depends on the prices

i have my own system i came up that mainly focusing on race winners...with mayne a h2h or 2 mixed in..

just depends on what u want to risk/win money wise imo...that when i started making real money

Yeah h2h are exciting even if you're drivers aren't running well you're only got 1 car to beat
