THE FUKKIN SEASON IS OFFCIALLY here starting with the night Sprint unlimited shootout exibition race on Saturday night from Daytona!!!!

let the money start raining down for the 2013 season boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (really handicappin starts race #2 and on cause this is a plate track and usually a total crapshoot but still..lol)



*not doing my usual write up and thread for the shootout as its just an exibition(like all-star race) just to kick off the new nascar season, and of course on top of that being its a plate race, just a crapshoot but we will still be trying to make a little cash getting ready for the big daytona 500 race next weekend..plus we get to see the brand new cars being unvieled for the 1st time for an actual race, not just testing/practices..

**i will start my regular thread (its OUR thread i just start it for us everyweek) and regular handicapping next week and will be posting my regular thread on monday mornings for all our regulars to discuss and post our selectons we make throughout the week to have in 1 thread like we have done the last 2 seasons...my hard work/preperations for each race starts , but its well worth the payoffs..

these threads are not for newbies, its serious business and money at stake

but last season was a season of a lifetime for me personally...i can only hope to come close to what i did in the 2012 season...little nervous about the new cars, but only time will tell and as always , all regulars (u know who u are) opinions are always welcome and very much appreciated...i really couldnt do it without all ur guys help and opinions i take in to account even if we disagree, its makes me think of others angles/leans in a new light...and to me thats vital for handicappers i trust as i do the regulars here..

GOODLUCK and the regular thread/handicapping will start next monday with Daytona 500 week...i will try and not go crazy $$$risking wise on this exibition being thats all it is and tons of unknowns, but probably still bet more than i should like always im just too excited not to throw several darts and maybe even a few H2Hs in a parlay or 2, or3, or4 LOL

also keep in mind, we have daytona 500 practices this saturday too and other days of course, and ill check the times as i have not yet... i think just to see how cars react only reason to watch, as duels are a much better way to guage things for the 500...maybe not winner but u guys know what i mean... but i will for sure for drafting but think its pack racing the whole way this year...i liked it both way and had great success tandem winning at least last 6 or 7/8 "official" plate races i know of, but pack is fun too and little less of a crap-shoot IMO so im ok with that

also dont 4get we also have the 2 Busweiser DUELS races coming up next thursday afternoon Feb. 21st also, i didnt even bet those last season, but will watch them very closely either way if i bet them or not...those are really a great way to see who looks really stout imo alot of the time...and at least who has speed and better stability which will be key with NO tandem drfting expected whatsoever this season...i would suggest watching those duels closely, even more than previous years

Nascar futures

Hey guys- Followed this thread last year and it's got me hooked on NASCAR. I love the interaction and lack of negative posters. It's great to see you guys sticking together. I'm on board this year and looking forward to the action. Im curious to see if there are any futures bets before the season starts? Good luck

i personally dont bet futures for nascar championship b4 the season, or anytime really...just not worth the odds to have my money tied up all season...maybe at start of chase but rare for me to even do that...

others might though, thats just my outlook on it

actually i agree might not be a bad idea with with Kyle, got feeling hes coming out strong this season since he will be racing alot more again in the other series...that tooj away from his CUO performance imo..hes a fukkin racer let him race damn it!

*****1 word of advice another regular told me last season, maybe shaunovery, but not positive about who it was for sure, is put even $2-5 bucks every single week on a driver to win championship, and doesnt have to be same 1 every week, and by time it comes chase time it will be a decent size possible win at good odds...or even nice hedge oppurtunity wehn chase starts...just a thought some1 else had made year and when it came time i wish i had done same thing...

*************actually more i think about it, maybe something fun to try this season...not like we would miss just a few dollars every race to be the championship on a few drivers....just pick 1 a week, and add to 1 u already bet if u want some weeks...end up with 5 or so to bet small all season and would add up near chase time and maybe add bigger wagers to them at that point..plus odds will shift alot with ups and downs of the season

maybe start 1 single thread to post our small bets every week on championship and just see how it looks come chase time...

not like we will miss $5 or less a week and might turn out to be a big chance at a very profitable win at seasons end, or even nice hedge with few races left ya know...or at worst extra fun wagers to root on for each other?!

something to think about guys and let me know b4 daytona, if a few of us choose to participate, ill do it every week too..doesnt matter either way to me but might actully be fun

i will say he has a MUCH better chance since the tandem racing is pretty much out the window (i think)...but his dominating restrictor plate track days are behind him. but never know

we all know plate tracks are the biggest unknon crapshoots of the season handicapping wise, but the shoot being a 75-lap sprint is impossible to predict...im not spending any time handicappin shootoout cause nothing to use really besides past performance i guess...ill have plenty of hrs logged starting next week this is just warmup week

im using the shootout saturday night and ther duels net week as betting for fun and getting a glimpse of what this new car looks like in racing mode on the plate tracks..

of course im betting the shootout, (HOW CANT WE!!!!) not sure about duels yet, more info gathering maybe there...but still wont matter, 500 just roll the dice as usual and hope we get lucky with them...even though ive been VERY lucky with the plate tracks last few years...im due to wreck out early...

dont get me wrong, u guys kow how fukkin FIRED UP ive been for weeks now about spees weeks, but i also know the real work starts for race #2 when handicapping/studying all week will actually be a big benefit at a regular oval non-plate track....still cant wait though to feel the ACTION and EXCITMENT of betting on nascar again

but just a word of caution for some that arent regular nascar bettors, the real handicappin will start race #2 in.....these daytona races are more luck and timimg than anything..even though there a select few plate races heads above most of the field....so bet accordingly (even though i wont take that advice ny any means )...just trying to help

i pretty bet on same 5-7 guys every single plate race, and its worked our great actually...make a few small changes according to if its daytona or dega, but u get the picture

but daytona is too fun and u can hit WAY TOO BIG not to be so pumped the hell up i might spontaneously combust b4 then!!!!!!!

yeah there always is at plate races, as well there should be

just not much of a advantage to get from info, ect decent plate racers ...my lineups are basically always almost the same at daytona, but thats for 500 not shootout

im sure ill go big as usual, even though i shouldnt...well not as big maybe but more than i should...just too damn excited not too

wont make any of my decisions til fri/sat probably...then ill get back to betting daily picks throughout the week when the 500 starts up next monday
