Just curious Trident why Joey

He has impressed me with his plate racing ability for awhile now. Go back and look at his stats here, when he hasn't been caught up in the usual big one his finishes have been very impressive for someone with so little experience plate racing experience, he took Kyle to the wood shed with the move he put on him to win this years Nationwide race here.

Have not heard. But I doubt it. The bits I listened to with them commentating were painful to listen to. 7 hours of waffling on about nothing and obviously not understanding what was happening, even when important stuff was on screen, must have been horrible for them.

Leigh Diffey is all Speed need to send I think. He knows the sport and can explain the stuff Americans don't know about.

Bathurst is one of the few I watch each year anymore. The sport has had it's testicles ripped off in recent years.

Bathurst is not as good as it used to be either. These days it's like a 500 mile NASCAR race, hang around until the last 30 laps and then race home. Once upon a time it was a race of attrition with important battles going on all day. For 20 years I would glued to the TV for 3 days on a Bathurst weekend. There is like 8 hours plus live coverage for 3 days straight here usually. Used to be so much fun having a 4B party for Bathurst. Booze/Bongs/BBQ/Bathurst long weekend with "the boys" when we were young

I can understand that. Even as an Aussie his voice sounds too excited and high pitched most of the time. Think he is one of the most knowledgeable racing commnetators I have ever come across though. He seems to know all sorts of tid bits and background info for so many different series he must live and breath the stuff.

In contrast, DW didn't even swat up on the right driver names for Bathurst last year
