i like qld but not confident
nsw dominated games 1 & 2
game 2 qld were dominated in the forwards and gave away too much ball

Just going to put a little on a prop, being 'No' for 'Will any team score 3 unanswered tries?' Quite juicy at $1.72 but should hopefully be a tight games where that won't happen

No such thing as free money, but QLD to win will be one of my biggest NRL bets of the season; when it's a "live" game you have to go back to game 3 in 2005 to find a QLD loss at Suncorp, the crowd there just seems to lift them to give 110% and is a very hostile environment.

QLD will miss Slater for sure, but he had pretty ordinary games in the first two games by his standards in any case, and it means Inglis gets to play his favoured position at fullback and roam on the backline and pick his spots to attack - he thrives on that vs a structured position IMO.

I still see this as being more likely a close game than not so instead of taking the ML, I'm skewing my bet towards the 1-12 line by 2:1 so I'm getting $1.83 on a tight QLD win and $1.43 on a blowout. 10 of the last 11 games have been decided by 12 points or less.

Haven't looked forward to a SOO game like this for a while, enjoy the game!

I'm liking NSW at Half Time into QLD after Normal time. trying to get better odds on Betfair, hopefully will end up with around 7.80 or so, will play it for 2 units. Might consider other bets, but just that at this stage.

Bah, NSW up into the last 10 minutes of the half, and QLD have come over the top of them a bit too early for me. Think they'll cover and the over should cover too, but I decided just to stick with the 1 play. Bugger. GL guys, although QLD backers probably won't need it

A few mistakes crept into that 2nd half, both sides missed a few opportunities, QLD were probably lucky to hold on in the end! Unreal finish!

Game of the year in any code, wish it was State of Origin every week! Had a huge sweat for my QLD bet but it held up in the end, I think they were the better team but only just ... if Williams had been inserted into the game even earlier - i.e. started the game - it could have made all the difference.

Best game I've seen this year! We'll have to wait till the finals in September to see anything this good.
