For those of you with Bet365 accounts, I just wanted to canvas your opinion on the changes to live betting. As you can see, it's now restricted to 'Phone Only' as part of Bet365's move for an Australian license. The Interactive Gambling Act makes it illegal to offer live online wagering to Australian customers, so that's the end of the show folks.
I don't have a large account with Bet365, but despite their juice, I have been using it for the last few years to cherry-pick soft lines when I see them. On the downside, live betting can lead to impulsive wagers and chasing, but with discipline, that hasn't been an issue for me.
I'm thinking of closing my Bet365 account and looking elsewhere for live online betting options. I've heard Pinnacle might be the way to go, but would be keen for feedback from you guys.
