Sat 5/6 Ricardo Mayorga vs Oscar De La Hoya
    Anyone on this fight?

I've never bet boxing, but I tossed a little on Mayorga and the Under 11 1/2 for the fight not going the distance. I read in some other forums that the sharp money is on Mayorga and the under. Then again, all boxing matches are fixed, right? Mayorga is managed by Don King, so if the fights are fixed he's the master fixer, right?

I'm just playing this one for fun. I was curious if anyone else was playing it.

Mayorga is a nut case, can he catch a rusty Oscar? Sure, but unlikely, DLH is several classes above and RM has been lazy during training like always. Been reported he's only been sparring 4 rounds every OTHER day, lol.

Im curious to see how De La Hoya looks. Since he hasnt been fighting and just promoting recently. Mayorga is a nut, and will be swinging like crazy on Oscar, so we will see if Oscar is in fight shape or not. Like OWNED said, Mayorga dont train for sheit either, so it should be interesting.

I just hope to see a good fight, and passing on all wagers in this one.

Did anyone get down on this fight? If so. What/Who did you take?

Even if you didnt bet on the fight. Who do you want to win?

I'm just going to sit back and enjoy this one. Hope Oscar keeps his word that he'll front up Mayorga and stay there and fight. Should be entertaining with all the bad blood.

I'll be cheering for Mayorga, since I'm freerolling on him for a few bucks, maybe just enough for a meal, lol

Mayorga goes down in the first round and is getting out classed big time in this fight through 2 rounds.

This wont last long if Mayorga dont figure something else out here.

Oscar takes round 4, but opening up his defense a little and Mayorga could catch him; he has already with some sharp combos, but not phasing Oscar.

                      39-36 after 4.

                        Clean, effective round for Oscar.

49-45 Oscar after 5 for me.

I didn't even watch the fight. I did see DLH on Leno earlier this week, and he seemed preoccupied and not really "into" fighting anymore. He had me fooled!

I don't know why I didn't post my actual bets:
                          .5*Mayorga@+260
                          1*U11 1/2@-111

The article above mentioned that this was DLH's "penultimate fight". I thought on Leno he said this was his last fight. I guess he's got another one already lined up. Anyone got any details?

Either De La Hoya was still sharp, or Mayorga was that bad. Because there was no doubt that Mayorga was going to go down and end this thing.

He will most likely be fighting Mayweather, Trinidad, or Wright on Sept. 16th.
