    President's Cup plays
PGA tour record was a little better than 60% but I'm not inspired enough to look for the thread. Pics:

    1st round foursomes:

Toms/Mahan -145 over Kim/Yang 3** (Royal Melbourne is not the place for poor putters... much like Augusta)
    Simpson/Watson -140 over Els/Ishikawa. 5** Same reason as above.

    2-0 +8 units.

p.s. I love the fact that Norman obviously wants to allow us to print some more money tomorrow. Plays later.

Love the same 2 US teams today, and will play a little heavier on each, especially Simpson/Watson.

8** Simpson/Watson They fell down 2 early yesterday and then played absolutely stunning golf. Ishikawa made 2-3 long par saves or that match would have been as bad as Woods/Stricker's beating. Ishikawa has been awful and really looked in poor form yesterday on numerous iron shots. Els has battled putting woes for several years now and I don't look for that to change on perhaps the most treacherous greens in the world. With winds currently at 20 mph in Melbourne I hope there will be some water on the greens or they may not be able to play due to balls not holding position on greens. Watson grew up playing Gulf of Mexico wind and Simpson has been as steady as any player in the world the past 4-5 months. I like Watson/Simpson in a romp.

5** Mahan/Toms +100 for all the reasons above. Only lower b/c the competition is better.

I'm not playing any of the others except perhaps in live play if odds are good.... opinions only for the rest:

      Day/Baddeley
      Ogilvy/Choi
      Kuchar/Stricker
      Mickelson/Furyk

(those are in order or strength, if you can even do that with opinions.)

          1-1 yesterday, 3-1 for event. +11 units.

          Early matches:

8** Kuchar/Haas -120 over Els/Ishikawa. Greg Norman is a fool to keep pairing these guys up. Thanks Shark!!

Later matches. Bet against these guys again if they are paired up, but most importantly bet against YE Yang and the K. Kim guy for the Intl. team in whatever matches they have, if any.
