Canada is playing with their hearts on their sleeves and this is their most important match of the tourney. They can finish 3rd in their group which means an automatic berth into 2015 WC. Japan got beaten fairly easily by Tonga... Tonga did look much improved from their opening match vs. Canada but Japan didn't even look like they cared all that much. An area I expect to see Canada take advantage of is in the ruck. They move into the ruck balls out and will likely cause many turnovers.

#4If they win this they are pretty much nailed on to finish 3rd and automatically qualify for 2015 so it's a big game for Canada.Originally posted by ExodusNZDo Canada care about this game or the one vs the ABs?Comment -

#5The game that matters is tonight for Canada. They have reason to give 100% and leave everything on the field. Japan hasn't shown anything so far and I think Canada's aggressive and physical style will overwhelm them early and continue throughout. Canada wasn't even badly outplayed by the French. Just the final 15 minutes they let it slip away.Originally posted by TheMoneyTreeIf they win this they are pretty much nailed on to finish 3rd and automatically qualify for 2015 so it's a big game for Canada.Comment -

#10absolute garbage first try. how that knock-on was missed is beyond me.
Even if the TMO isn't asked about it, if they see something like a knock-on they should say something.Comment -

I guess the ref might of been out of position but if thats the case the TMO should have some power.Comment -

#19Yep, loaded up on them straight, too good @ $3. Should've been favourites. Hope they can hang on from here.Comment -

Wanted to take -2.5 but could only get -4.5 and didnt want to get dogged with Japan winning by 3.Comment -

#21Lucky you got that try before halftime (which involved a forward pass) With all that dominance, Japs needed something to show for it.Comment -
