A few days ago, I took the DOGS Japan @ +58.5 Go Doggies Go!

There is lots of talk about this in the media today. And on the internet about how the AB are the no brainer bet here!!

McCaw and Mils are likely to sit out of the Japan game as well as Dagg, Toaeava & also Carter.

Not sure if that is going to affect the game too much, but Why do I get the feeling the + for Japan to cover might still be the safe bet???? Guess we will find out soon enough!

Rugby illiterate here, but Russia is only one ranking behind US in the IRL standings and US put up just 10 points to Ireland.

Unless Russia is particularly bad, +8.5 -105 (1.95) is value considering US played 4 days prior, this is somewhat a rivalry with the last match in June won by US 32-25, and this is Russia's first match of the tournament, so they will be plenty fresh.

I actually thought USA would cover that they dominated the majority of the game. I just couldn't put money on either side after watching the first half

Scotland were like this somewhat on wednesday against Georgia. There was a period of about 5 minutes where they breached the 22 three or four times only to knock it on or concede a penalty.

That period alone could have easily covered the spread but we got lucky.

I am already on the japs +58 and still like this bet, in fact I would not be surprised to see japan score once (i will give them that) and that mean AB has to cover by 70 odd points, and in not so nice weather....So I still think the Japan + 58 still makes me feel it is the right choice here.

Everyone likes the Japan 58+, which is fair enough, but there is O/U 10.5 Tries, I think Japan will struggle to score more than one try, so that leaves NZ to score 10 tries for me to loose and under here ... so unless we think that Japan can score two or more tries then the Under 10.5 tries is the better bet right??
