AFL website predictions

Something different, in the past few weeks their predictions have been ok in predicting the line, I assume they get people who know the teams to write the preview. Still a square prediction though, this is just for fun guys, I only use this when I want to make a play for the sake of it.

Hawks by 11 @Docklands (Hawks -6.5)

Adelaide by 25 @Metricon (Suns +27.5)

West Coast by 21 @Subi (Dons +22.5)

North by 6???????????? @Docklands (Dockers +21.5)

Pies by 43 @M C G (Lions +74.5) {why did it edit M C G ?**

StKilda by 13 @ANZ (Stkilda -9.5)

Western Bulldogs by 51 @Football Park (Bulldogs -32.5)


I think they are trying to be respectful with the Pies and Bulldogs predictions. I love the Bulldogs line, a definite play for me. North only by 6? They mad? We'll see.

Bulldogs, saints and hawks are definite plays for me.

Where do they make the predictions, in the "Fantasy" link?

sportal.com.au ..... just put the mouse over the sport menu(afl or nrl menu) and you will see the previews section to click on

Must say I like that Dogs line too. There's been a lot of talk in Adelaide this week about Rodney Eade becoming the new Crows coach. He would want to put in a good showing.

I'm just letting the prediction decide which side of the line will be chosen. So if they predict Hawks will win by 11 and the line is 6.5 then it's the Hawks line.

cats vs swans - cats by 28 points

saints vs roos - saints by 8 points

lions vs eagles - eagles by 15 points

freo vs magpies - Magpies by 80 points and I'm probably under-estimating it. (exactly their words)

saints vs roos - saints by 5 points

dees vs suns - dees by 16 points

Thats the two compared this round, alot of picks close in the margins. during the start and core of the season, these two sites dont always pick the same teams. sportal are more brave to pick an underdog
