Just wondering do you always parlay the games?

No. However I liked both team last night and have a similar feeling about tonights games.


I think Melbourne will win well but it will be tight for the first 60 minutes.

With a new coach and fresh start I really think Parra will give it a good go and will win or get beaten in the the last couple of minutes. Something like 32-30 for this match. Nz will be pumped up at Eden park however I think Parra will lift as well. Should be a great match and not a walkover like most predict

I like the Bulldogs alot. New players at 1,6 and 7 plus a great hooker and big centre.

Tigers have all the expectation on them much as the Warriors did on saturday night.

Round 1 last year the Tigers played Manly on the monday and came out sluggish. I expect the same tonight with Robert Loi having a kid on tuesday night and Benji being distracted.

Either way its gonna be close so 1-12 both ways is a good play

Round two looks heaps tougher. Only good thing i see at this stage is the Roosters over manly. Who knows whats going to happen with the Panthers and Eels, the only thing certain is one of these teams will come out flat. Broncos should beat Canberra but never do. Storm vs Titians will be a cracker with both sides fired up for a big game. Tigers and Warriors will be a great game but with The Beast out for eight weeks and James Maloney suspended for atleast one week the Tigers should win this one. If Kurt Gidley plays I also like the knights.

Im not sure it will be that high. Monday night at home for the Sharks. Feels like a poor quality grind of a match to me. If they offer Sharks +20 Id have to consider it strongly.
If last year is to go by Monday nights are a strange time for Rugby League. The favourite more often than not plays poorly.

Nice results for the 1st Round, definitely showed my thread up a bit haha.

I like Canberra at home, especially since its a Friday night game, they haven't had too many of them in the last few years, will be a big crowd. The one thing that might be in Brisbane's favour is all the pressure on Canberra this year will be new to them, we saw what happened to the Tigers last night. I think Brisbane were unlucky to lose the game on Friday night, a few poor options towards the end cost them.

If Orford and Dugan play though I will probably bet Canberra, the over might be a good bet as well.

I love the raiders but are they really that good, they did only beat poor old cron who I really do feel for this yr, I'm on bris to bounce back in a tight one, might go small with the +6 but parker needs to kick straight. how important is a high % goal kicker, an extra 2pts thru out every game is just so important, eg. is marshalls being so average under the pump when converting tries. Bris know how important these early wins are!! Every win from the get go is so precious come sept. Also it looks like solid support coming in for storm n the c/boys.. + smith n thurston are great converters

I also going small on a 2 leg multi @$14. storm/ n cows/newc to both kick 40/20's this wk-end, smith, cronk, prince, or campbell n thurston, payne, bowen, mullen, henry, even rogers just may deliver. I'm surprised over the previous years teams haven't taken advantage even on the early tackle counts to gain some free yardage... I say even bring back the torpedo kick~~

I feel that this match can go either way. I like the Coast with the +6 starts but i wont make a decision until saturday afternoon. At this stage Im liking the Knights more than anything else saturday night and may parlay them with the tigers.


Disclaimer: While i may be leaning one way do not make a bet until i have officially confirmed it and please do not bet the farm on these matches. My intenion is to be only $100 - $200 per match and let the bank slowly grow over the course of the season. I am not trying to make a fortune over one weekend

Anyone able to pull up on some stats for how many 40/20's last season? 2009 had 53 so two per round.
