They broke into ordinary Sunday morning TV programming with the announcement as if it was an actual national disaster rather than just sports

HOLY JESUS!
With or without him, NZ win this cup, quite easily imo. But damn that's a terrible loss for NZ rugby!

BIG blow for the All Blacks, but they are the deepest team in the world, bar none.
LOL at the way it is being covered in NZ!

What a day....
What the hell are we going to do about slades kicking? Wepu going to take over? Wepu on the field for 80min? The try scorers really need to help him out with running it closer to the posts once it hits semis time.
Bar that I was at was going ape shit for the warriors, pretty unlucky with the way the ball was bouncing, good on manly tho.
Cash the no team to score 100 points in pool match $6.00
Thanks to the tab for the bad line on the all blacks game too

Wales v Ireland should be a cracker!
Slades kicking was hideous. Weepu looked better but also have a couple of sitters from right in front. Something will have to give though.
Agree on the Warriors, I feel like every one of our loose balls was ruled a knock on, while every Manly loose ball went backwards.
Two real killers: Maloney dropping the ball on the first tackle when we had full set on their line early in teh game and obviously that try right on half time.

I expect tries like that to happen at the start of a season in a blow out game in the 79th minute, not in a grand final before halftime, that was shocking defence, the players retreating just didn't give a Fuk either
TAB has the RWC lines up, teams to go thru
Wales
England
SAF
NZL
Anyone thinking about backing NZL to win right now should wait out till after the argie game, I think there could be some more bad news around the corner

What's the bad news?
You wouldn't back them to win now anyway because you would get over $2 if you rolled the money from the quarters to the finals.
Wales, Australia, NZ, England for me.

How close to a full strength side will Australia be able to field this week?

Not so sure you'd get over $2...you might get better than the 1.75 on offer now but not by much. Maybe 1.90ish?

You might be right, it's gone down since Aus/SA are now on their side of the draw.
1.05 vs Argentina
1.40 vs SA/Aus
1.30 vs Wales

After watching them against tonga last week I doubt it, they do have the better lead up (penalty kicking teams) but I can't see them getting anywhere near it. In saying that $17 is quite nice

Wellington definitely has the tastier Quarter Finals! Boks v Wobblies should be superb, will wait for team sheets before making a play but if John Smit starts at hooker, then its AUstralia's match to lose!

I like a NZ/Ireland final paying $4.75, I think the winner of Ireland/Wales will beat England, and I have been really impressed with Ireland so far. What you guys think?

Im interested in everyone elses thoughts on Wales / Ireland too
It looks as if RLF likes Wales? Early line movement favoured Ireland. I agree winner should beat England.

I'm also feeling wales, this has been the best they have looked for awhile, sure the Irish beat aus but that game was messy as ****.
Tempting to hit either team 1-12 margin. I really hope the tab move the 2.5 to 3, I can see that being the margin at the end.
Another 10g fine for the other tuilangi brother (England) this time lol

So far I've played NZL opposition to score a try each match and it's coverd. They have left it at 0.5 for the argies also, sure it's the playoffs and NZL will tighten up but there's always the Colin slade intercept.
Also RLF......
**** YOU!
Your the reason Dan Carter ripped his groin.... lol

I was pretty excited when I heard Carter was out (my Slade highest point scorer bet) until I realised how shit of a kicker Slade is. Looks like Weepu will take on the kicking duties. Feel for Carter, you'd think this would likely be his last WC.
I like Wales a lot, I'll even back them to make the final and win it if it's not against NZ.
Don't mind France either, take nothing from the Tongan victory, the French are known to surrender, they didn't need to win and they made sure of it. They've named a very strong side, just about full strength; they've been knocked out of the last 2 WCs by England - they will want their revenge here.

To be fair slade was in better form before he got injured, then he pretty much sat the super rugby season out with his jaw breaking twice. Looking back at it now I'm sure Henry is regretting it. Especially after watching Cruden bring the turbos to a final.
The next 4 years are going to be very interesting at #10

Tab is by far the worst for $, they even bring 1.85 vs 1.85 lines out from time to time, if they didnt **** there live betting up, bring out random props, stuff lines up and honor the bet I wouldn't even bother with them
