Pretty good field in this race on Saturday. I like the 3-horse Nick Zito entry. The entry is 9-2 on the morning line, but figures to be around 5-2. The public might think only Andromado's Hero has a shot among the three, so the odds might tick up a bit.
I think Seek Gold has a shot in this race. He ran 2nd to his entrymate at Calder 2 back and was completely shut off on the turn when full of run in his last race at Gulfstream when he placed 3rd. DRF charts don't mention the jock was stuck inside, had to wait and swing 5-wide in the stretch, a killer move on speed-favoring Gulfstream. The third horse, Pies Prospect, appears in too deep but did win his last easily at Tampa Bay Downs. All 3 horses owned by the same owner. How nice is that.
I'm not sold on Magna Graduate, Suave or Super Frolic off the layoff in here, but will likely side with Magna Graduate in my exacta although I seem to never pick Velasquez/Pletcher at the right time.
