£25 EW Paul Casey @ 25/1
Money is piling in on Paul Casey and who can blame the guys for doing that. Casey is being backed by most knowledgeable golf punters as well as the man himself, Ken Brown. I see no reason why he cannot contend for the title here when on paper Augusta suits him down to the ground. Augusta is known for its favouritism towards drawers of the golf ball and in Casey, we have a guy who is smooth on the draw and can hit the ball a country mile. Admittedly his driving accuracy is down this year but his greens in regulation and sand saves have improved which will be important for keeping the momentum.
£25 EW Chad Campbell @ 80/1
Chad Campbell may have had an inauspicious start to 2010, but he has come out an admitted he loves playing here. A lot of players will play poorly here as they see how daunting the course is, but with campbell going to go out an enjoy it, perhaps he can put his recent mediocre stats behind him and grab a top 5 finish. He is better than the tour average in many of the stats tables, his driving distance and accuracy is above average and i know he has a good quality shape on the ball. His scrambling is very solid and with a very solid gir record also, i am going to take him each way
£25 EW Camilo Villegas @ 35/1
I think Villegas has a very good chance this year with previous good play here also. His odds have dropped down as he becomes more popular with punters.
His driving distance is up near 300 yards and taking that into account, if he can control his driving, he will be in very good positions on the monster par 4's. His greens in reg is above average on the season as is his putts per round. This season he has made 4 from 5 cuts and had a win, missing the cut recently does not bother me and he is 5th in the fedex standings. I think he has a good shot this week
