TODAYS GAMES:

CARLTON v COLLINGWOOD: This games scares me because I like Carlton but the Pies are playing good footy.To me this is a game where Carlton will either WIN close or LOSE by heaps.
I just see a lot of goal scoring options in Carlton, even though they will allow Collingwood a lot of chances to shoot for goal as well.

TIP: CARLTON +13.5pts also liking the OVER 180.5 pts

WEST COAST v FREMANTLE: Local derby which again should be a tightly fought game.I noticed the over/under is set at 185.5pts.This could be a play , along with Freo.

Hey guys! Hope everyone's been doing well this weekend although I have a feeling a few people may have got stung by Hawthorn. They need to just pack it in I think - shocking. Although I like Essendon so I was happy for them to get the win.

I'm on Carlton today (no shocker there) but am a bit worried about Collingwood. Haven't been concentrating on AFL too much lately - focusing on NBA and tennis for the time being - so for all I know this one could be an absolute bloodbath today for my Blue Boys.

How about that Celtics/Cavs game. You were either having a fit, or jumping up and down with glee when the buzzer sounded. It amazes me how often the handicappers are almost spot on. Hope you were on the right side, shari91. Anyway, GL if you decided to play Carlton...looks like it's going to be a nail-biter thus far.

I was only on Cleveland for the 2H and over so I was happy about that!! Couldn't bring myself to take the Cavs to cover for the whole game and even though they did, I'm thankful I stayed away. Too stressful!

u can watch afl in most pubs. There is a sportsbar at crown casino that has huge screens but the idiots don't have the volume on unfortunately. Best thing would be a local pub near where your staying

If you want the real "Aussie" experience you have to go to the MCG!! If you cant make it there try some of the pubs like Pug Mahones or Bridie O'Reilly's. Harp hotel in Kew is usually good for a game as well. these are all places in Vicco by the way...

Hawks have won ONLY 2 of last 12 Home/Away games and they were against Richmond and Melbourne.

They were run off their legs thru the middle last year vs Eagles when they really needed to win.

Can't see how they turn it around especially with their only midfielder worth anything at present - Mitchell.

BUT Buddy and Roughy just signed to end talks of going to GC and because I can't pick my nose at the moment with AFL my logical bet this week has to be Hawks +8.5 @$1.91

sounds like franklin will be out though so without him they will really struggle
