Whats the go with that line. knights have been so competitive against the big boys of late. If its only because they're saying good bye to half their squad it still shouldn't have been much more than 12. To summarise i'm with you Domestic on Knights.

Newcastle only lost by 6 the last time they played in round 2 and Newcastle has beaten them consistently at home and put up a good fight against them away from home.
I think the whole "players getting pumped up" for someone's final game or 200 or games or something is totally overblown. You only have to look at the Richmond Tigers last week in Cousins' last game, they were down by 60 or something at one stage. Everyone has contracts to play for and both teams should be playing just as hard.
I might look like a sucker come monday but I am going to put a unit on the +21.5 now.

Don't bet the Knights. The Storm's last game together in front of a sold out stadium. They have been very good at home in recent weeks. If anything the line might not be high enough. I would never lay that many points but I lean the way of the Storm.

I have my biggest play of the year coming up this week. I love all these games so much I have parlayed them for my maximum bet. Head to head you get a little better than 3/1. All three teams have a lot to play for.

Parlay: Raiders + Warriors + Eagles

Raiders are the form team of the competition and they meet a tired and beaten Bronocs team. To guarantee a finals berth Raiders need a win here and that is exactly what they will get. Expect the big Raiders back to dominate this contest. They were able to wear down a strong Dragons defense so i don't hold out much hope for the Broncos given how easily the Warriors cut them up last week.

The Warriors hold out hopes of a top 4 finish if Tigers can upset Titans on Friday night. It is a big game regardless as Roosters are nipping at their heels in 6th place. Warriors were impressive last week and will want to reproduce that form leading into the playoffs. Cleary has said he will not consider resting players are they are comming to win. The Eels have slumped to new lows getting pumped by the Bunnies last week. They are getting beat by 30+ if they produce the form they have shown over the last couple of weeks. Hopefully Mateo and Inu decided to have an off day against their future club.

This is a must win for the Eagles or they could find themselves missing the playoffs. The Dogs had everything to play for last week yet they couldn't get the job done. Eagles will want it more and at Brookie record comfortable win. With the bad luck the Eagles have experienced from the refs in recent weeks they won't want them missing the playoffs. Expect the Eagles to be the beneficiaries of a few soft penalties playing at home.

saints are getting pounded. they are now down to 16.5 at some of my books (opened at 18.5, went to 19.5, but dropped to 16.5 in the space of about 4 hours) why do bookies want more money on geelong? .... because my bet is already fvcked. I can't see ANY other reason. its not like saints are the square play...

i'm just hoping geelong get the late blowout, because the saints give up when they can't win and are down by about 13 or 14 points with 2 mins to go... they'll know they have next week to worry about.

What are your thoughts for the total of the Broncos/Raiders game?

I'm of the thinking this is going to be a high scoring game. Raiders should run over the top of them even though they score less points away from home, but also Broncos have to win by something like 16 points to have any chance of making finals, so they'll be forced to throw the ball around which should lead to either bronco points or plenty of turnovers. Broncos defense also sucks arse. Raiders -5.5 and over 42.5 looks tempting. Forecast says a fine night, but anyone in Brisbane confirm this?

Maybe Raiders points over 24 is a better bet on second thoughts.

BRISBANE V CANBERRA: Either way this game should be a nice open game of football. Whilst Brisbane's attack is struggling without Lockyer I still think they can at least score 10 - 16 points. That being the case the raiders can open any team up at the moment and a big score is not out of the question.

TIP: RAIDERS -3.5 pts and OVER OVER OVER 42.5 pts

TITANS V TIGERS: This game could be the opposite of the other game. Both teams may want to keep things a bit close to the chest for the finals next week. Titans always play tight, so this score could stay close all night.

TIP: TIGERS +4.5 pts and UNDER 42.5 pts

GEELONG V ST KILDA: Nice game to start the finals off with. I do like Geelong, and the Saints can certainly march on when needed. Whilst this game isn't do or die the WINNER will certainly get a head start to the FINALS....I'm going to leave out a winner here and go with the over/under...Unoffically the 19.5 pts on offer ATM isn't enough...

Raiders will have to make sure they don't lose by more than 15 if they do happen to be trailing, as Broncos will knock them out of the 8, even if souths do lose. You'd expect Dragons to comfortably win, but seeing they have already locked up no. 1 spot they could be up for letdown this week.
