NBL is a cash cow, I love betting it. Guys had this multi last year $4 risk $900 return no bullshitting and I lost on the last leg I had Hawks ML they lost by 1 point and the line they were getting was +1.5. It was so unbelievable.

dunno where your roll is at ATM, but don't do it. I think that game is actually a lot closer than many people think and an upset wouldn't surprise me. carlton's 'revival' this season after looking gone came vs west coast at subi, when they were down by 4 goals to come back and win.

since barlow went down vs port, freo have been terrible. even with the big ins and rest this week, their form hasn't been good anyway. carlton are showing they can play of late too... barlow was more important to the earlier success than people think.

good luck if you take it, but its a pretty hard round this w/e i reckon. not laying any more than $110.00 on a game i doubt (i always say that.. then come sunday i'll be on melb or port for a nickel.)

i like the 2 south australian teams, collingwood and melb to cover their spreads this weekend as my favourites. i havent seen the ins and outs though.

I am actualy liking the warriors tonight Pound. I reckon at home, they are going to smack the baby broncos around. Especialy without Lockyer. Am liking the Freemantle pick though. Only thing that worries me is that hiding they copped last week. Can they turn it around in just one week? And yes I know they were resting 6 starters but still, look at what the crows did resting 9.

also, i'm thinking the line was a bit of a trap, opening at 7.5. its like they want you to take freo. sandi being a big man will struggle for match fitness and won't be as effective as before he got hurt.

im leaning carlton 0.5U and will wait for the late line movement to try and get 11.5 or 12.5 (its up to 9.5 at some places), as no doubt freo will be a huge public bet at home. if the line doesn't move, maybe even better for me.

also watch - the free kick count in carltons favour will be huge, you are going to go off!

BUT, words of warning - r22 and finals can be tough in afl. i'm not going more than 1.5U on anything. profits are locked in for afl.

edit: i'm prety sure it opened at 7.5. someone tell me if thats not right.

NRL DON'T FORGET EARLY GAME TONIGHT KICK OFF 6.00pm SYDNEY TIME ( played in NZ )

WARRIORS v BRISBANE: Once again the Broncos will be without D.Lockyer....With that in mind and the home advantage I think the Warriors can get the job done. With such an important game on the line for both teams we should see a good game of football. The broncos have suffered two big defeats in their last two games and the slide could continue tonight.....

TIP: WARRIORS -5.5 pts

SOUTHS V PARRAMATTA: Whilst I already have a firm idea on this game, the result of the first game played can determine whether or not these teams are as committed.... If Broncos WIN then both sides are virtually GONE for the year........ If Warriors win then its GAME ON.... That being the case I'm still all over Parramatta to win comfortably....

FREMANTLE V CARLTON: I enjoy watching the BLUES play and while I believe they can match it with Freo, I'm going to lean with the home side...My book has no over/unders in this game, but I'm expecting a high scoring game....If you can get about 182.5 pts go OVER..
Carlton should start strong, but expect Freo to build up and strangle them in the 3rd quarter....
