I would steer clear of Parra / Penrith Game...

Parra coming off false hopes from one player and worst team in the comp, Penrith coming off a HOME loss to one of the worse travelling teams in the comp.

So are Penrith sliding or just a bad game, they are missing lewis, one of there only creators (non kicking).

surely we can find value in other games.

PS. i got smashed tonight on the footie, went the wrong option for nearly all my bets

Sorry to hear that dizzy, I think we all took a hit tonight in this thread except Hedgejob. There'll be winning days as well. In regard to the -6.5, I have been noting it with opening lines, not what the line ends up as, but even then it isn't fullproof,but hits more often then not.

In regards to Penrith/Warriors game, Penrith obviously struggled with attack, but at the same time Warriors have been playing exceptional the last few weeks. I won't be puting a lot on the game, I just don't rate parramatta much, and they made a lot of mistakes in that game Monday night, which they were able to get away with as the cowboys were just as sloppy. Penrith will benefit from Pritchard back in the side, and Parra won't be able to get away with the dropped balls, etc against the Panthers like they did against Cowboys. I could be wrong and Parra really might pull out the win, but thats just the way I see the matchup and I'm willing to risk a little on it.

Theres really no excuse for Manly not to win this tomorrow, but I won't be touching the game on principle, manly burnt me last week, and I'm not willing to bet them -10 with their recent form (should have got them -6.5 like Gonzo did).

Really not sure what to make of the Storm/Warriors game tomorrow, will be interesting to hear others thoughts on the matches and put our heads together.

There was no under/over market on the AFL on my books until late in the day, but once I seen it was around the 185.5 pts UNDER UNDER UNDER was the big play......Come to think of it, it was the best bet all night...

I wasn't totally convinced about the NRL unders so I left them alone.....but HJ you got them right...

Looking at the Warriors/Storm game it was this same time many months ago that the storm fiasco blew up and the next storm game was against the Warriors and they copped a blast from the storm.
Again this week more details have emerged about the Storm salaries and again they will play the Warriors.....

Getting hit once with a sledgehammer hurts but you can still get up from it...
Getting hit again with a sledgehammer has to take its toll.........Will the warriors take advantage of it this time...IMO YES they do the job tonight...

I kind of got a chase in my brain where if St Kilda doesn't hit I am doubling up on the Western Bulldogs spread tonight, I watched them last week and they are better then Geelong there run through midfield is so fast and smooth.

But St Kilda is the better team, last night we all though Geelong would at least hit the ML, today people are drawn between two teams usually this is when the bettor bets small and then regrets betting small and then bets bigger on the next game and then loses. Its a vicious cycle. So I hitting St Kilda hard if I lose no regrets because Collingwood isn't that good.

Two best teams in comps are Saints/Western Bulldogs.

Forgot where I read this but St Kilda is 9-1 in the regular seasonagainst the other "top 4" sides which includes Geelong, Collingwood, Western Bulldogs in the last two/three years or something.

WARRIORS v MELB STORM: Warriors should be able to stave off the Storm who would be still reeling from further salary cap findings this week.....The weather should also favour the Warriors.Their last few home games have seen similar conditions,so they should be more familiar with the conditions.....

CRONULLA v MANLY: With the changes in the Cronulla side Manly should be looking to put them to the sword.....Manly at -7.5pts is now down to $1.62.......Looking for a better option with over/under set at 40.5 pts...

PENRITH v PARRAMATTA: It comes down to which team you have more faith in..... Are Penrith on the slide???...Is Parramatta back???..
At least we might find out tonight....IMO Parramatta won last week and did play poorly..At least I know there is improvement....

WEST COAST v ESSENDON: Both of these teams concede more points then what they have scored....Essendon score more points per game but defence wise are as bad as West Coast....

Yeah pretty unforgiveable to lose with a 22 point lead. The period after halftime had a lot of questionable penalties, but thats league I suppose, its no NFL. End score is what matters, and parra got there in the end.

Not only is the officiating in the NRL a disgrace it's getting worse as the season goes on. Has to be right up their with the worst officiated games in the world. I've had enough to be honest. What has been happening to the Warriors is a complete disgrace yet somehow they keep on winning. Give them the premiership.

The funny thing is you can tell when the refs have had a talking to about a particular offence, coz they go over the top in penalising it for a week or two, then back off again. Seems over the last two weeks its been forward passes, as not too many all season have been picked up, then all of a sudden the refs have been going nuts on them, even penalising a lot that haven't even been forward.

Up early today.....Will be out all day so here are a few selections on what I think are the best of todays games...

NRL

ROOSTERS v BULLDOGS: Looks to be the best game of the two.... The DOGS need to keep winning or else the season is over..The Roosters look to have their strongest team possibly, but the bulldogs are on a rare winning streak...On form though the Roosters are still the team to be on but like Parramatta who found a way to win last night and I think the Dogs of war will do the same...

TIP: BULLDOGS +2.5pts and UNDER 43.5pts

RAIDERS v KNIGHTS: I'm not to confident on picking a winner on the line. FYI Knights are +4.5pts. Over/Under is set at 46.5pts....This looks to be to best option...46 is a lot of points when looking back at their last five games each only once has that total been exceeded. even the last time they played they only scored 44 pts. Taking the under here.

TIP: UNDER 46.5pts

CARLTON v SWANS: This game could be as good as yesterdays top of the table clash....The swans have had trouble beating the better teams this year,but Carlton usually allow teams to score against them freely...The swans have a tight defence and I'm tipping this to pave the way for them...As I said this should be a cracker of a game.....
To early for my book with over/unders so line and margin betting is all I can go on......

RICHMOND v NTH MELBOURNE: I know Richmond are winning but Nth Melbourne IMO are under rated....Agreed they are not one of the A listed teams but they have a spirited group of players...Richmond will keep going to, so either way this should be a close game...
