yeah can't see Dragons suddenly scoring 36 points in the final and I can't see them letting roosters run riot either.

haven't been in here for a while. between work and life, not much time for SBR.

Good pick on the GF. i had saints +16.5 @ 5x.... again, i definitely didn't tell people around me what was riding on it.

it was definately the right play - some bloke had 40K on the pies and the line didn't move. pies were also (from what i could tell) getting hammered all week and the line never moved.

a draw was a good result - i'm more than happy to do it all over again in a few days time! the line is still 10.5 and is probably about right. i may just have 1x on something closer to the day.

i actually think the game will be either a real shoot out or very low scoring... totals may be the way to go.

good luck with your league bets guys. i don't even know who is playing in the GF - thats how much i've lost interest in the last two months... just looked it up - Sydney look good as dogs though right? (it is sunday afternoon betting - unavoidable i'll have something on it).

I stll have my $10 for $220 return on roosters future bet and support dragons so win win for me.

Rather dragons win obviously.

Nice hit on St Kilda Pound. Was hoping you would get on Collingwood this week. I think they know that they almost blew it and will run riot on saturday.

On NRL. Some fukwit just put $1 million on the roosters.

. He just blew the chookies chances. Dragons are an almost certain lock now.

I will still back my mighty chookies though.

And with 3 row seats at centre field, I am gonna love every minute.

I'm feeling the roosters this week, dragons just didnt look right vs the tigers

When ever the tigers passed the ball thru the line the dragons would panic, at one stage i even saw someone turn around and run back just to keep the line and this is how the roosters attack.... pass pass pass, one side to the next. Dragons just seem so up tight and scared to do anything wrong, all the public saying there going to choke has got them in their shell

Then you look at the roosters, throw the ball around, all relaxed, clowning around at practice, only thing that scares me is Leilua on the wing, dudes too young and always in the wrong place

Ive got $ on the dragons from last month (picked to win comp) but my thoughts at the moment is to back the roosters.... and step it up on no 40/20 in match haha

Few stats you guys might be interested in.. Wayne bennette is undefeated 6/6 grand final appearances and has yet to lose to roosters this season... I'm a rooster fan but they just can't seem to beat the dragons... Remember dragons were pretty rusty last week from the break but I think they are ready..

head to head.. Bennett has won 22/37 against smith..Bennett holds a 2-0 record over Smith in Grand Finals head-to-head.. People shouldn't forget that Roosters always struggle against the Dragons and I don't see this week being any different.. You have bennett who knows how to win grand finals whereas you have Smith whose 0/4.. Predicting dragons to win 13+

10 UNITS: Col -5.5 @ -110 for the 1H is the play for me. I reckon they come out strong and will be up by at least a couple at half time. St Kilda have been a second half team for me this year - they have a knack of nailing that 3rd quarter.

Welcome to GROUNDHOG day everyone......

So many questions remain unanswered...I keep hearing that the younger Collingwood team will have benefited from last weeks experience,but who's to say the tried and tested Saints were fazed last week to...After all it was St Kilda who got to the bad start last week....Some are even saying this game will require extra time to win......??????

Will the pies jump out to be big early lead....Will we see the real SWAN today......What if the SAINTS lead early.....Who actually shows up to play today......

These replays are a matter of mental pick-ups more than anything...
Historically grand final replays are never close at the end. The previous 4 VFL/AFL GF replays have been by a margin of over 30 points and the only two NRL GF replays one side has been beaten to 0.
Still expecting a close one................

I noticed the line is set at only 11.5pts....If history has its way again this start won't even be close at the end....Its just a question of weather we are on the right side of the LINE..........

So with everything taken into account the WINNER IS.......................

TIP: Why would I be shouting out my selection when we have a CHAMP on this forum who is 8-1-1 in the AFL FINALS......You can call me insane at various stages of my threads but when something like this hits you in the head you need to take notice....

Collingwood is going to be the play. Like you said I think it might not be even close.

I really hope I am not wrong, for everyone else sake, but thats how much I am putting and I really believe the Pies are going to kick the shit out of the Saints today.
