They don't play today, so I would wait to see how the supposed "faster" surface this year will help the big servers this year. Not too impressed with CG's rally prowess or intelligence on the court, but if he can figure out Ollie the midget's game, he should win.

i'm taking a shot on Guccione here.......he has never played better although the dwarf will make him earn it

i also made small bet on Moya. Blake is better but Moya +360 was too tempting.

Two underdogs I'm thinking about taking a small shot at:

Evgeny Korolev +250 over #10 Fernando Gonzalez

        or

Janko Tipsarevic +325 over #8 David Nalbandian

I think another top 10 seed goes out on the men's side sometime in the 1st round with the way things have panned out so far. Nalbandian is so up & down, you never know and Korolev is just a hunch.

World Class choke by Janko, up 7-6, 6-4, 5-2 and gets broken both times he's serving for the match. Then at 5-5, he gets 0-40 on Nalbandian's serve and chokes away all three break points and is now losing the 3rd set 6-5. When he loses this set, expect Nalbandian to finish him off pretty quickly. Thought Alun Jones was going to be my choke of the tourney from 6-3, 7-6, 2-0 to lose, but this one is going to top it and the sick part is it's happened so many times before with Nalbandian, I expect it and can't bet on him with no live betting options.

Tipsarevic retired. I was kicking myself for not going for this bet, but it wouldn't have mattered since he retired and was in the middle of choking.

I do think I'm gonna lay some down on Korolev though just to see if my mojo is on or not.

The heat is really F-ing people up I think. Sharapova almost got beat too!

Both Guccione & Tipsarevic had good chances of pulling off the upset. Tipsarevic just tapped out...heat was too brutal. I don't think Guccione has played too many 5 set matches.
