I don't a thing about him, and I still feel comfortable taking Moya in 2 sets +145.

set me straight if you know Koubek and you think I'm wrong.

Koubek has been on fire in this tournament and also read that he beat Nadal 6-2 in a practice session. He's been around for awhile though and is your basic journeyman. In this tournament, he's

cashed as a +290 dog against Srichaphan 6-1 6-2

cashed as a +143 dog against Benneateau 6-1 6-2

cashed as a +168 dog against Moya 6-3 6-1

He's priced as a dog again tomorrow against Malisse, who upset Nadal at +630 odds. X-man's record in finals would not give me great comfort in backing the chalk even though he is a class above the hot player.

Koubek is mostly on fire in the beginning of the year only to take a break until late August. I always chicken out on him because he's impossible to read as far as I am concerned.
