    U.S. Open - Beth Page Black
    With the U.S. Open returning to Beth Page Black for the 2nd time, I'd like to point out a very interesting read about this public course and what it took to make it "U.S. Open Ready" in 2002.



    "Open: Inside the Ropes at Bethpage Black" by John Feinstein will offer a great background for this years' U.S. Open tourney for those who love to watch golf like I do

        For everyday play, the Black Course tips out at 7,366 yards, with a par of 71, a USGA course rating of 76.6, and a USGA slope rating of 148.
