Paradise Jam..........Hofstra vs FSU

Going with the Noles on friday to open up the Paradise Jam. This team has some serious young fire power. Although both teams are unproven thus far beating up on weak opponents I think Hofstra is going to have a hard time keeping up with this athletic and long Noles team who should get some separation eventually especially if Hofstra tries to run with them.

That pitchers mound is the most awkward looking thing I've ever seen.
It almost looks dangerous the way it sculpted lol.

Yeah its played on a converted aussie rules football oval during the off season...

I went there and watched a dh last week.

That mound is seriously like 18" in height.

Surprised guys haven't rolled their ankle over on it...

Yeah I was watching that lefty Baker throwing from the very far end of the rubber. Looked so uncomfortable and at such an odd angle for his footwork. They gotta have a few injuries with a mound like that.
But also, it's a huge edge for the pitcher obviously. I'm guessing the games are on the lower scoring side compared to here.

Yoid be surprised thatthe majority of the games this season have quite comfortably gone over.

The other game on at the moment is currently 11-4 in the 8th.

Scoring wise you dont see too many games in the abl that are this low scoring. In part due to the level of pitching. This aint no mlb...

Bandits are connecting enough at bats, they just either skying the ball or hitting hard grounders str8 to the in field...

Trust me to wager the one night their bats cant make it out of 1st gear...
