Not sure about the interest of union on this site but I thought id make a thread nevertheless,it gets going on Friday with the hosts England facing Fiji.The groups are as followed...
Pool A-Australia,England,Fiji,Uruguay,Wales
Pool B-Japan,Samoa,Scotland,South Africa,United states
Pool C-Argentina,Georgia,Namibia,New Zealand,Tonga
Pool D-Canada,France,Ireland,Italy,Romania
New Zealand are rightfully favourites.They have the best team on paper and arguably the easiest route to the final,however the price of 5/4 is way too short for me.At 9/2 England are my main bet to win the cup. I'm banking on home advantage being a big factor,if they can beat out Australia and Wales for top spot in their Pool I will be confident of them going all the way.

The Tonga Georgia game looks a tricky one to call.The Tongans beat them last year 23-9 but Georgia have been steadily improving and their forwards could control the game.The under could be worth a look,both teams tend to struggle to score and with this essentially being a decider for third place it should be extremely competitive.
