How you been going. Still finding a middle

Hey mate. I haven't been tracking too strongly the last three weeks. It all started going downhill with a $250 loss on the Davis Cup Final. I also got jibbed by the TAB for not paying me out a $340 winner when I backed Ivanisevic to defeat Sampras the other week. I'm still chasing the money from them, due to them refunding the bet. Load of crap. Basically, over the last three weeks I am breaking even.

This week I have hit a couple of NBA middles the conventional method. I had a couple of units on Memphis -3.5 v Golden State at $2.04 and then I placed 2 units on Golden State +8.5 at $2 live in play during the second quarter (during the time Memphis went on a crazy 20-0 run to begin the second quarter). Final margin was seven points so I made a profit of 4 units.

Same thing yesterday. I backed Golden State live in play v OKC at $2.73 for one unit. Then I had 1.33 units on OKC +6.5 at $2.10 during the third quarter. Again I hit my middle, but I was extremely lucky that Klay Thompson elected against an easy layup in the dying stages to keep the margin at five points.

The only other middle I attempted in the NBA this week was in the Denver and Houston game. I had two units on Denver at $2.21 pre match and then I had 2.33 units on Houston +3.5 at $1.93 during the second quarter. The match went into OT after Afflao hit a three on the buzzer, but had he repeated that play on the previous possession (when Denver had the ball turned over), I would have hit that middle too.

Actually, I lied. I had a huge middle during the week but it didn't come off. It was with the late change to the Spurs team. I had $500 on Denver -5.0 at $1.96 when that book hadn't moved the line out, and I middled that with Spurs +7.5 at $2.13 for $450. I still made $30, cause Nuggets won by 12 points IIRC.
