Did we over rate the Dogs attack or underestimate the Broncos defense? The Dogs are certainly not the Dogs of last year and can they beat the Cows next week in Sydney? It is very obvious that with Barba in the team that the players are not unified, great resentment that he is there and the lack of a genuine playmaker in the halves is showing, some brilliance from Reynolds and Inu is about all the spark they showed.
A 5 unit loss from tonight. Onto the big one tommorrow but i will be here for the Broncos and Ravens which should be a cracker in the NFLComment -

In hindsight I think we underestimated the motivational factor. With the game on the line Morris was rested gives you an insight into how the Dogs approached the game.
Once Hodkinson knocked on I knew the Broncos were gonna score.
I agree about officiating .. I think it's been beyond pathetic. I know it's hard to get things right all the time but I honestly never seen as many penalties blown for no reason. That strip on Glenn was a joke, that dangerous tackle in the first half, last week Ben Creagh called for a flop when he didnt touch the guy , I think manly south game had two holding down penalties where I thought the tacklers got off too early, think Stanley scored the week before and they didnt go video, I guess that one can happen . But I hate penalties given away for non exsistant reasons and I think it's happening a lot more often these daysComment -
Just saw on the Footy Show that Tallis wrote an article midweek and called the Broncos piss-weak.
Lots of motivational angles in the game but realistically, the Bulldogs still should have had enough to beat the Broncos.
It looks like the Sharks are going to rest even more players with up to 6 regulars missing.
Carney is unlikely to play and he joins Graham and Gallen on the sidelines.
