2012 Finals Record: +34.56 Units @ 8(wins)-4(losses) = 66.66%

Adelaide vs Essendon

Adelaide WIN 1-39 @2.25 x2

Disappointing result. Adelaide couldn't capitalize on a lot of their chances. Ended up with the same scoring shots. They made a lot of mistakes and Essendon were just better in the wet!

Same story every year I'm afraid... Richmond will improve this year, but they just don't match up well against Carlton.

Carry on the form from the NAB cup. That is why I am getting on the Lions. Should take that next step towards the top 8. Western Bulldogs will finish bottom 2 this year, along with GWS.

I was looking at David's thread & I did some research myself. I really like this play tonight. I see that Hodge is out for Hawthorne and maybe this one stays low scoring.... I also know that Geelong has won has always done really really well against Hawthorne. Hoping for a great game to watch, will be the first one of the year!!! I love AFL, and living down in Texas, no one even knows what it is, LOL!!! BOL tonight, hope we hit this one! VAMOS!!!

Round 1 Review

A tough start to the year. The excitement of having the footy back led me to watching almost every game and having a punt on each game too. Looking back there were a couple of unlucky losses, but it was a fantastic to get a real good look at a lot of teams, and can't wait for round 2 next week.

Oh, I also wanted to say that I LOVE the fact you watched all the games this weekend. This tells me that regardless of how the season goes, you will probably know how these teams are flowing throughout the year. I know some weeks games just are just a head scratcher, but it's a grind and I understand that. I will be checking back in quite often, esp on the later matches. I want to thank you for all your hard work in advance
