Thanks I cashed nicely off the first goal scorer but brutal loss on the Eagles choke. I feel like I picked the right side though. Freo v Geelong is a tough one mate. As a Freo homer i've doubted my boys since day one as being optimistic with freo in the past has always been met with heart break. I've doubted them every game and every game they've proved me wrong. HOWEVER, Barlow and Munday are huge outs against the big Geelong midfielders (arguably Johnson out evens that some what). I have a feeling that Geelong will scrape through here with a W. I really like the Geelong 1Q and 1H lines...

That been said the make or break game for my season was my 6x play on the Eagles ML against Port Adelaide where they were up by 40+ and lost. Hopefully I can get out of the red within the next few rounds.

Finally posting a positive record in AFL after a pretty great week. Still disappointed it took me 94 plays to get positive. Definitely underrated Port once again, although I still think they are an average side. Collingwood are clearly on the decline and I will be looking at making a play on Carlton next week. Crows ended up being an easy cash and I'm glad it came in as my last huge play in AFL got screwed. Hopefully everyone that looks at my thread had a profitable week.

As you can see I like Carlton tonight in what is their most important game of the season. Sporting two huge in's, Carrazzo and Murphy the Blues are set to turn their disappointing season around with a concise win over a club rival. I believe Carlton have the depth all over the ground to take this game and push for a spot in the 8. I feel the Pies midfield is very thin and will struggle against Carlton. The Pies have not been themselves this season and although they will be looking for a bounce back win after their worst defeat of the season, I think they've run into the wrong team to do so. A well coached and hungry outfit that is sporting a strong line up.

In rounds 11 and 12 against the Bombers and Hawks we were on the cusp of seeing Carlton break out of their shell and become the team we all predicted and hoped they would be under Malthouse. Going into the second half of both those games up, Carlton quickly choked away their lead they worked hard to build. I think the Blues sort out their second half woes and hold the lead in this game and finish.
