Try not to look at your picks as winners or losers.
Try and see if the horse that you bet on ran to the expectation that you were looking for. If the horse did, either you devalued another horse more than you should have , the trip that your horse got was too tough to overcome or another horse simply ran better than you could see on paper.
Sometimes you have a losing pick and there is not much to learn from.
Many times though, there is a great deal to learn.
Keep an open mind and watch the replay and read the charts and see if there is something to better understand next time.
Without confidence, picking winners will be impossible.
With it, you have a chance.
There is never a curse, only room to improve.
Never give up !
