you do know your laurel (and maybe tbreds in general) i will say that and please dont take this as me being an asshole but:
with that kinda insight/skills you really could/should have more than (a lil over) doubled your $.
    trifectas are your friend

$2 straight tri bets wouldve run you 20 bucks and returned ~$100 (5x your $) not to mention the 2nd race where the tri was very hitable (to you!)

*not that doubling your $ is anything to sneeze at....nicely done

Do you play trifectas often? I never really have, I just hate the feeling of missing them by one horse! Anyways, hope you did alright today..

3 horse tri boxes(for a buck)? rarely. although i hear keying one horse over 3 others ($6 for the 1 dollar tri) is the smartest bet at the track.
50 cent tri keying one horse over 2 others, yes. often. anytime i can get a tri bet in with 2 horses boxed for a buck im pretty much nosing the program

couple of standardbred tracks that offer 50 cent tris are:

        balmoral, maywood, monticello and pompano.

does laurel offer 50 cent tri's? do any tbred tracks? they must....i just dont play them enough to know.

        you into dime supers?

Laurel doesn't accept 50 cent tris. Haven't played any 10 cent supers yet haha.

I am considering daily doubles though.. I'm pretty standard, a few exactas here and there. I know at Oaklawn they have daily classics which is pick 6 in a row, which I've seen hit for over 100k.
