This race will be run around one turn on the main track with a long run into the first turf. CODY MAVERICK (Diamond Green) was a good third here on the Tapeta the last time he faced maidens and then moved up in class. He gets in light here and draws well. NABAH (Motivator) was a good second two starts back in a maiden at Ascot then came here and ran poorly. She should be much fitter with a race over the track and gets De Sousa. BARANSKY (Green Desert) Has some back class against maidens on the turf and raced evenly in his Tapeta debut. Gets blinkers for the first time.

Race 2: Scene Handicap
About 7 Fur. on the Tapeta main track
$20,000 for Northern Hemisphere 4+ and Southern Hemisphere 3+

This race will be run around one turn on the main track with a long run into the first turn. MAATH GOOL (Dubawi) just missed last out against one level better and draws well for this. He has a win here at this distance. By DUBAWI, he is a half-brother to two group stakes winners. ENJOY TODAY (Kingmambo) was a sharp winner here two starts back going a mile then raced evenly here behind the top choice in his first start against winners. He’s out of a group one stakes winner and is a half-brother to a multiple group stakes winner. FURNACE (Green Desert) Was a decent third behind the top choice and already shows wins on all three surfaces.

This race will be run around two turns on the main track with a good run into the first turn. HADBA (Cape Cross) broke his maiden here last out going this distance and looks to be still improving. Daughter of Cape Cross is out of stakes-placed dam. PROFONDO ROSSO (Red Ransom) Was a good second two starts back when he showed good speed then raced evenly here last out at today’s distance. He’s out of a half-sister to champion turf mare ISLINGTON. BUSKER (Street Cry) has been racing well on the dirt lately and switches to the Tapeta. His dam is a half-sister to top sire DANEHILL DANCER.

This race will be run around one turn on the main track with a long run down the backstretch. HAJOUM (Exceed and Excel) was now match for group company three starts back and he drops down in class after facing better handicap foes. CINDERKAMP (Kyllachy) was a close third two starts back here going seven furlongs against better and draws well. LES TROYENS (Librettist) drops down in class for Godolphin and gets Frankie. Bin Suroor adds a visor.

This race will be run around two turns on the main track with a long run to the first turn. BAWADI (Medaglia D’Oro) was a sharp winner three starts back here then went to Sharjah and won on the dirt. He gets a massive drop in weight and picks up Ajtebi. TAHAAMAH (King’s Best) Moves up in class off a sharp win going this distance from post 13 and gets Frankie back aboard. RADEGUND ABBEY (Nayef) was a good second two starts back and raced evenly here last out. He drops ten pounds and gets Richard Mullen back.

Race 6: Gulf News Handicap
About 1 Mile On the Tapeta main track
$24,000 for Northern Hemisphere 4+ and Southern Hemisphere 3+

This race will be run around one turn on the main track with a long run into the first turn. CAPITAL ATTRACTION (Speightstown) was no match for PRINCE BISHOP two starts back but then beat this handicap level last out here going seven furlongs in decent time. FAMOUS WARRIOR (Alhaarth) was overmatched in the Carnival but did have a pair of fourths. Should find this group more agreeable. RUTLAND BOY (Bertolini) moves up in class off two straight wins against cheaper and draws much better.
