You've been challenged, Trickfinger. And I'm bringing all the troops.

WAGER: If you finish last "You agree to NEVER use the name Trickfinger in a thread title again"
and for you: 2 points from every poster you beat.

We'll use your scoring system: "rbitrary points will be assigned to each horse you pick. If you choose say 5,1,2 in the 3rd race. The 5 horse receives 3 points, the 1 horse receives 2, and the 2 horse recieves 1.

Now we go to the results for the 3rd. The 1st place horse gets a multiplier of 4, the 2nd place horse gets a multiplier of 3, and the 3rd place horse gets a multiplier of 2, 4th place and beyond gets a multiplier of 0.

So for example in the 3rd race if you picked 5,1,2 and the results were 2,1,7 you would get the following points... for the 5 horse you get 3 x 0 for the 1 horse you get 2 x 3 and for the 2 horse you get 1 x 4.

Your total points received for this race are 10.

chalk players have a huge advantage with the scoring system but it's still fair to all, just like playing 3 card-monte if you play too many longshots....i had a 30/1 shot that crushed in thursdays contest & only got 12 points
