it's one of those new style pick 6's (forget the terminology).. one lone winner gets it all otherwise 30%, or something like that, is carried forward.. $159k is just the accumulated amount in the pool from it not being hit by one person.. guess ny has done away with their traditional $2 base bet p6... no it was hit by multiple people I believe.. the parlay of those odds for 20 cents is about $273.. close to an 800% overlay even with the carry forward.. amazing payout !!

even though it seems like a good bet with the 20 cent minimum it really isn't..the normal takeout plus taking an extra 30% or close for the carryover when a single doesn't do it ( probably about 97% of the time) is really brutal.. then again you get a Huge overlay payoff like that and that seems to happen a lot as the pots get bigger.. don't get that as you're still being taxed very heavy.
