Tampa Bay Derby (R11)

I'm thinking the pace might be quick here....

:2: If pace is quick, I think might factor in at the end.

:4: Could not watch the reply from the FG, but I respect the speed figure here as being in the ballpark. Win candidate

:5: This will be my big toss from win consideration. Playing strongl against the last race and what I envision his trip being with speed on the outside.

:7: I think makes sense as the fave but I just have question marks about the step up in distance. I liked what I saw in the replay.

:10: I always give considerations to horses who last raced competitively as a 2yo. Big jump in class tho...

I know Im not going to get the odds on Instagrand but I don't like 1/1.

Too many questions for me to accept 1/1 on this horse. Coming from the sprints and first race is a graded route. Easy trip IMO last out. I like the workouts tho.

Good race last out, I always like when they don't have a lot of other speeds on the outside. Was a bit wide during first turn last out

Just have a hunch feeling that the horse had more than last race showed..

Gotham-Got smoked there, I just really disliked Haikal despite the pace setup and was just intent on a front runner still having enough to beat what I thought was a weak closer.

Tampa Bay Derby-I always like competitive 2 year olds that look like are coming back with intent.
