Race 5 at Saratoga is interesting. If there is any truth in breeding, I think the 3-Abstract Cape should run big on first turf. He is out of Galileo and Cozzene, how can he not take the turf !! ML at 15-1, now 19-1.

Now is 20-1, $5 WPS

Looking at Saratoga, I like these which I think it is better the odds indicated.

Race 8: 5- Lightstream, she is the only one here that has 100+ beyer. I think the pace of this race will a quick one. Her come from believe should give a good chance and out of traffic problem. At ML 10-1, I think she is as good as the two favorites.

Race 9: 4- Real Smart, 1 1/2 turf is not easy. She is out of Smart Strike (which I love) and Daylami (which I also love on turf). She has improved on the beyer in each of her three races here in the states. Being training by Motion Graham is another advantage. She is listed as 6-1ML, which I think will go higher.

Race 10: 2- Comfort and 6-Effenix. Comfort under Pletcher, he seemed like a different animal, this will be a big test for him. And with Pletcher's top dog riding, I will give him a shot at 10-1 ML. I was never a fan of Frosted, so.... As for Effenix, Mike Smith seems to know how to ride this horse. He came second to American Pharoah in the Breeders Cup, with his tactical speed, he should be right there at the end.

Race 11: I think anyone can win this, so gonna with some price money or maybe I will hit the all button. Can't decide.

Del Mar Race 7, 1- Juno ML 9-2

The 3-Elektrum and 5- Price Exhibit should win just based on class itself. But they both seem to run into traffic all the time which causes their win. The two intriguing horses that I like is the 1-Juno and the 8-Entrechat, both seem to have tactical speed and both about 5-1. I will take the 1-Juno only because Prat chose to ride the 1 instead of the 8. And I like Prat as a turf rider more than Gutierrez. Mandella's numbers are good for 2nd off layoff, dirt to turf and turf. Think she is primed to show she is capable of and see how she stacks up against the US horses.

Yeah that was BS. Got knocked sideways making a big late run but they leave it as is. That is the most aggravating thing about this game. No decision is ever the same and who knows what the stewards motives are. It really is a joke. Think Silent Flash definitely gets 3rd without the hip check and with all the momentum may have got 2nd.
