Rachel Alexandra just gave birth to her first foal, a colt. The sire was Curlin. Then foal was 125lb and resembles his Mother. She will be bred to Bernardini later this year. That's one of the big negatives about horse racing. The stars of the industry have more value in the breeding shed than they do on the racetrack.
