Santa Anita opens tomorrow (the day after Christmas) with 4 stakes races of the 9 carded. The back half of the card looks great.

I could see The Factor return to form today. He was the heads on favorite (0.80 to 1) way back in the Arkansas Derby (would have earned a start in KY Derby), but had a poor race. Then he went on to win the Pat O'Brien at the end of August. After that, he lost the Ancient Title (4th place as 0.40 to 1 favorite) and the BC Dirt Mile. So now there may be value with this horse again. ML 7/2.
