Obviously the angle didn't work out here but I've hit some nice ones using it because of exactly that reason.The bettors see slow figures but a horse usually does a ton of developing in the time the 7 was laid up.She ran 3 progressive races at 2 yrs old into the 1st month at 3 yrs old and then was laid up for 11 months.Playing a horse who is basically making their first start at 3 after a lay off or same thing at 4 after a lay off is $$$ atleast in my experience.With the qualifier that they showed some semblance of talent.
