The stewards share a partial responsibility for this situation. He'd past all the tests for 15 months in California. In a brilliant ruling they go to causal testing. Give us a reason to test and we'll test again. Patrick may have seen a hole and went for it.

Yes, you are probably right. The Stews could have babied him some more but maybe they were getting heat because he had been clean. Who knows. It really used to drive me crazy watching guys that had a ton of talent screw off and make mistakes while the much less talented busted their butts , kept their nose clean( whoops) and worked so hard for maybe an opportunity.
We see it in all sports I guess, but the track was where I was right in there with it and made me sick.
